These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and the individual developer of Latus (also marketed as "Voya"), a consumer travel-planning app for Android and iOS ("the App", "we", "us", "the developer"). Please read them carefully. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial, and revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own private travel planning only. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and children under the age of 13 should not use it. By using the App you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
The App is a personal planning and organization tool only. It is not a travel agency, tour operator, or booking service. We do not sell, book, reserve, or arrange flights, hotels, transport, insurance, or any other travel product or service, and we are not a party to any travel arrangement, reservation, or contract you may enter into with any airline, accommodation provider, carrier, insurer, or other third party.
The App only helps you plan and organize your own trips. Any decision to book, pay for, or rely on a travel arrangement is made by you, directly with the relevant provider and subject to that provider's terms. We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, quality, performance, or cancellation of any travel product or service.
You agree not to:
You are solely responsible for the information you enter into the App — including trip details, budgets and expenses, journal entries, saved places, and documents added to the Document Wallet (such as passport, visa, or insurance information) and the Emergency Medical Info card. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of that information. You retain all rights to your own content; we do not claim ownership of it.
The App lets you invite other people to a shared trip using an invite code. Members of a shared trip can have different roles — owner, editor, or viewer — and the owner can transfer ownership or remove members. These actions are managed through the App's in-app controls.
When you share a trip, you choose to disclose your trip data to the people you invite. You are responsible for whom you invite and for what you choose to share. Members receive access according to their role: viewers can see shared content, and editors can also change it. We act only as a conduit that transmits and synchronizes the content you choose to share; we do not monitor, moderate, or control what users share with one another, and we are not responsible for how other members use, copy, retain, or further disclose shared content. Leaving or disbanding a shared trip is handled through the in-app controls.
The App includes AI-powered features such as smart translation, journal summaries, place and safety recommendations, AI trip-building and itinerary generation, and smart import of boarding passes and bookings. These features are powered by Google Gemini.
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading. It is provided for convenience only and is not professional, medical, legal, financial, or travel-safety advice. You must independently verify any critical information — including but not limited to visa and entry requirements, health and vaccination guidance, safety and security conditions, and flight, transport, or booking times — with official and authoritative sources before relying on it. We are not responsible for any decision you make based on AI output.
The App relies on third-party services to function, including services provided by Google (Firebase Authentication, Firestore, the Gemini API, Maps SDK, ML Kit, Analytics, and Crashlytics), Sign in with Apple (on iOS), and exchange-rate data from open.er-api.com. Sign-in is provided through Sign in with Apple (on iOS) and Google sign-in, alongside an anonymous baseline account; the App does not manage or store passwords. Account creation and deletion are available in the App. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.
The App is free to use and contains no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or charges of any kind. We do not charge you, and we do not collect any payment-card or payment-method details. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future; if we do, this will be clearly presented in the App and in the stores before any charge, and these terms will be updated accordingly.
If you choose to send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other proposals about the App, you agree that we may use them for any purpose, without restriction and without any obligation to you (including no obligation of compensation, attribution, or confidentiality).
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App, or any feature or part of it, at any time and without liability. Features may change, be limited, or be removed, and we do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data or AI output will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App, including any reliance on AI output or on data entered into the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ILS 100 (approximately USD 30), which is on the order of the price of a single additional trip. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your misuse of the App; your User Content; content you share with other members of a shared trip; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any law or any right of a third party.
The following terms apply only to the version of the App you obtain from the Apple App Store and are in addition to the rest of these Terms. In the event of any conflict with the rest of these Terms, these Apple-specific terms control for the iOS version only.
Your use of the Android version of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
You agree to comply with all applicable export-control, import, and economic sanctions laws and regulations in connection with your use of the App, including those of the jurisdictions that apply to you. You may not use or export the App in violation of such laws.
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
You may stop using the App at any time and uninstall it from your device, and you may delete your account from within the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or its features if you breach these Terms or if required for legal, security, or operational reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The competent courts of Israel shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at this URL with an updated "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced inside the App before taking effect. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The app uses third-party data and services. The attributions required by those providers' license terms are collected here:
